- 2012 Ford Fiesta
My daughter has a 2012 Fiesta SE and my Live Data is showing a purge valve that isn't functioning to its potential. I would like to replace it but Im having issues finding the proper part.
I can get the direct fit assembly with the formed plastic lines however its $186 through Parts Geek and other sites. Ive seen where the valve itself may be available and just replace it with new fittings for the existing lines.
Here's the issue, all the valves I am seeing being available as stand alone options are not the correct orientation to either sit on the bracket correctly or the plug placement is incorrect.
Anyone have any experience with this? I really dont want to spend $200 bucks if I dont have to and pulling one from a junk yard is a crap shoot as to if its any good.
