Hiya all,

Im Jaan and I recently purchased a 1982 fiesta 1.1 popular plus.
I'm excited to get my car ready for driving lol.

I have some questions regarding running gear and wondered whether to post it in informal discussions or the technical forum...
You would have better luck in a UK forum. Maybe find people restoring them. There are very few left in the US.

Hi
I bought a 2015 Fiesta Titanium 1.0 EcoBoost in July
Welcome to the forum. We don’t have many U.K. 1 liter EB owners here, but you are more than welcome browse and post. There are some good threads on cooling systems here that are relevant.

Hello, all!

I drive a 2012 Fiesta SES. I have questions about my Traction Control System/ABS... Can someone suggest the right place or thread in the forums here?

Thanks much!

Welcome to the forum. Your owner manual is the best source for the specific information that you want.
2011 Fiesta have a rather intrusive and not deselectable traction control system. I have seen a couple of early build 2012 Fiesta that were the same as the 2011. But I have also seen one later 12 that was built in July of 2012 that had the ability to mute the T/C through the vehicle functions menu in the center stack display. Wish I had a more definitive answer. But, Ford was making more than a couple of running production changes between late 2011 and the end of 2013.

Indeed. For the first time in 4 years I slipped the right wheel onto some roadside gravel while braking and the brakes went to mush and had to be pumped repeatedly for them to work at all.. Shut down and then drove the next day, she started up with TCS OFF on the display. Anyone know it this is supposed to be normal?

Not normal. I would probably have a shop perform a brake fluid flush and bleed on the system. Especially if you are sure that it has never been done before.
They also should do a physical inspection of the brakes, including the removal of the rear brake drums to look for fluid seepage from the brake cylinders.
Have you recently seen a “hill holder assist not available” message in the center screen?
It might have briefly displayed and gone away.

Hey thanks so much! Sorry for the late reply!

I took her into a shop for an inspection and all is well. I totally need to bleed and refill, the brake fluid is DARK and old.

I didn't see the Hill Holder message if it happened.

Thanks again!

Good! Just be sure to get rid of that old fluid! It will destroy that large aluminum component that the brake lines run into on the lower right corner of the engine compartment. That is the distribution block for your ABS. That is the most expensive single part of the entire system. A fluid flush and bleeding is way cheaper!
