Yes. They are pressed in. It’s a lot cheaper to replace the ball joint than to replace the arm assembly

Reason I ask is that I saw videos of them being pressed out but that those had circlip retainers that had to be removed before pressing them out. I bought my Fiesta new, and the ball joints are not retained by circlips.

I knocked out the ball joints with a hammer and a block of wood. The Delco ball joints I bought had the circlip retaining clips and they worked perfectly fine. I think the Delco part number was 45D1530. IMG_20200911_165518.jpg
