Hello all!! I need some assistance please. The original engine in my Fiesta has possible bent valves and a low end knock. In your opinions, would it be better to just get those replaced or replace the engine?
Also, would it matter if the replacement motors are from an automatic and being installed in a manual?

Thanks

Handy Andy

Some Automatics are GDI injection - meaning they use a high-pressure Fuel pump powering a Direct Injection system - so when you transfer the motor - make sure it matches your intake and injector system. (VIN)

Manuals for the non-ST models seem to be the TDC-i types meaning they are normally aspirated and non-turbo - unless stated otherwise - then it can be GDi (Direct-inject) or TDCi - (Intake - Downdraft Inject)
