Overfilled engine oil

So a friend of mine put too much oil in my engine and before I knew it, we drove about a half mile. The engine started putting so we pulled over. The car was smoking terribly. We drained some of the oil out but when I took it for a couple laps around the parking lot, all the remaining oil leaked out. When we looked at the engine, the leak seemed to be coming from the engine oil cooler around the hoses that ran into it. Can anyone help me maybe figure out exactly what's wrong and how to fix it?!
