Hey guys, earlier last year I went through a car wash and it caught my antenna and ripped it off.
I ordered a new one (off amazon) and unsurprisingly it didnt fit the car.
Im still looking for one and thought I could possibly upgrade it, maybe get a fin antenna or a shorter better looking one.
Im still looking for a new one to install but im not sure were to look.
I would really appreciate if anyone has any suggestion on what antenna to get and where to look for one.
Thanks in advance.

Depending on the year, and since you're outside of the USA, this may not be able to help but I'm trying.

If you can, the old antenna - do you have the old housing? The cable might help you decipher what you really need to have.

The year is why I can't "pin down" a good concept except to see if you have used antennas from a wreck-yard - that have a similar cabling system.

The reasons on this - one of the cables power an amplifier at the rear antenna base, while the other coaxial cable sends the signal back to the Audio Head unit. The whip uses a twin-coil wrapped in plastic, one for Medium Wave (AM) and the other for FM.

However, the catch is the security and RF-ID for your remote - that receiver for it has two possible locations, front windshield and the rear antenna - both serve as pickup and if one works - great, but both are needed to really access some extra features that are only possible if the RF-Passive entry system is present.

I'm adding here...-stay tuned...

Now, granted you may not have all those extras, so this is why I'm taking this approach - the recommended ones are shown.

You may be able to use a Fin-style but the cabling and the connector used, as well as the equipment it's designed to be interfaced with, will be different. Shown above - this is presuming you do not have SYNC - you may have the FORD Audio System - not SYNC - both use satellite but cable the signal in different ways.

Notice the connector will be different and is for SYNC and above in revision.
