Heater control lights?

Well if your dash lites up - it's not because of a blown fuse - they all branch to all the dashboard devices from that same circuit.

But, if the heater control connector was damaged - that may spell another problem with the harness or the controller itself - which means a dash board has to be taken apart, and that means either a trip to the shop or you can try and remove the trim to gain access to that controller, by yourself.

Since you own a 07 model - that may simply mean you have a blown lamp - but that too - requires a disassembly of the dash so you can get at the knobs and pry them off to obtain access-to the light's socket and grain of wheat bulb - in latter years they switched this to an integrated LED lamp housing in the knob so you may not be able to get access to it - you'll have to replace it as one piece.

To Help:
  • The Box of Fuses, is in the passenger compartment..located behind the Glove Box...

Yes, and thanks for giving us a pic of that console, you have the older manual knobs which are backlit by a lamp and fiber-optic (a translucent stem) so you will have to gently take apart that dash - it peels away like an onion - one "skin" or layer piece which interlocks and by removal - unlocks the piece laying below it - to reveal the superstructure of how those knobs and their harness cable wires - when they are turned - affect the mechanical vanes.

1763332571002.png To convert those to LED you may have to shop on-line thru Amazon or thereabouts to locate a dim-able LED version that would be more permanently wired and may give you the correct tint (Ford blue or tint) - else you may have to work with Sharpie markers and try to develop a tint color that matches the rest of the dash's overall hue and tone and mark up the LED to make that work.

@Handy Andy. OK many thanks. The controls work. I only noticed the light wasn't working a couple days ago driving in dark rain.
