Ford Fiesta (Mk8) buzzing noise

Hi yall!

Good to be here. I'm a happy Ford Fiesta Mk8 (2021) owner. Now driving for a couple of years trying to keep it well-maintained. However I having trouble with a 'weird' buzzing noise. I've read different threads already but those mainly seem to go with the Mk7. So I don't think it's the fan in the centerconsole that causes trouble in the Mk7.

The buzzing noise appears when throttle is applied and stops when clutch is engaged. It then because less loud but also will return, only less noticable.

I already had my Ford garage have a look at it, but want to double check here. They said it's coming from the transmission and is 'just part of the car'.

Just thought to give it a try here.

Some people call the buzz a whine, others call it a roar. for them to say it is the transmission seems a little too quick in the diagnosis and is discounted other events up-to alternator drag and whine even from the water-pump.

Can you get a second opinion and better reasoning and explanation?

OK...here's why I'm asking...

Whine can come from many sources, including a type of electrical noise that is from the Alternator and can come from poor connections on up to a faulty battery - because the whine gets into the electrical system on the vehicle - it can affect radio and the "muted" system you have in there called SYNC. It runs all the time and keeps the Audio Amplifier on, but in a muted state even when you turned off your radio - it's supposed to be this way. And for this reason, whine can show up as a tone or buzz you hear from inside the car from blowers, AC, fuel pump as well as a dirty connection to your battery from the alternator - unable to smooth out the noise because it's trying to pump current back into the battery thru a dirty connector.

Whine can also be from the "transmission" but it can also be SPEED-DEPENDENT as in, the transmission changes the RPM from the engine into a rolling motion thru gears that otherwise had not been there, would have easily over-revved the motor.

Those gears turn a differential that goes to the axles - which in turn can form a whine from meshing - but also have bearings that also can buzz or whine due to failure.

Are you sure these Ford guys are looking at your car, let alone on your side?
