Hi there, new to this forum
My fiesta starts without a problem in the morning, but as soon as I press on the pedal it chokes. Usually cut off at around 2000rpm.
Any idea what can be the reason? Driving the car only once in a few days.

It does this when cold or even after you let it warm up by idling the engine for at least ten minutes?
Also does the engine die when you slowly depress the accelerator pedal while sitting stationary?
If issue is present in both situations, i would be examining the pedal connections to the harness. And secondarily the connections at the throttle body. I would be really questioning the electrical signal from the pedal ( which is a kind of throttle position range "sender") may have a dead spot that is not sending a position signal for throttle plate angle.
That is the first area i would be diving into.

Sorry for my late reply,
Cold weather here is not realy cold, not less than 10c at night this days. Past few days I was using the car daily and it worked perfect
As for your questions, never tried idling for more than two minutes, I'll try. Also for slow depression.
If issue repeats I'll try cleaning throttle body next.

Thank you for your advice,
Yaron
