Boot Open Sensor

Hi

The Boot Open warning light keeps randomly coming on the dash, beeps and interior light comes on. The boot is not open!

Is there any way of disabling the sensor? I?ve checked the Menu settings and fuses but no joy. I?m currently on holiday waiting for the breakdown lorry, hopefully just for a flat battery but I don?t want it to keep happening [:(]
