Starting my build this weekend. Will be starting slow as time and money are a little tight right now. So far I already have replacement mirror turn signals and rain guards to install. Will post some pictures once they are on. I will try to include links to products when I can.

Window rain/wind deflectors and smoked turn signals added. Forgot to take before pictures but below are the afters. Will try to get some outside in the near future. Upcoming this week will be just some general maintenance. Going to change front brake pads and rotors. After that may try to get rid of the chrome on the grille. Also plan on changing out these shitty lug nuts for something that doesn’t have caps. 103FD7DE-3D18-4631-AFB4-9039A0645C4C.jpeg CB1A6CBF-C659-4F7C-86EB-A1E87C980368.jpeg

Gorilla makes some nice wheel lugs at reasonable cost. I believe they even have black chrome Finnish available.

Cold air intake...this is the bees knees at the moment...https://afepower.com/afe-power-56-70048r-takeda-momentum-cold-air-intake-system-w-pro-5r-filter. See https://www.fordfiesta.org/threads/cai.8287/#post-21858.

I grabbed up these lug nuts a couple of years ago...good value...paint is holding up well...they hold my wheels on and I can get them off when I need to (stupid Ford lug nuts!). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KO4LA06/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Thanks for the links! Got some new lugs the other day but have been too busy with work to get anything done. Hopefully today I can get to the brakes and potentially the grille.

Work has been eating into a large majority of my time as of recent but some forward progress on acquiring parts has occurred.
Picked up a second hand AEM cold air intake from Facebook mrkt. Pretty excited to install this and see any performance difference

Other items:
got some new interior lights that should match the color design for the build.
valve stem caps: Amazon
Paint for the calipers: autozone
Paint for the grille/emblems: autozone
Window covers for rear small window: eBay

will try to toss some pictures up today

Ended up finally getting around to the chrome delete on the the grille and blacked out the ford emblem. Also hit the plastic covers where the fog lights would normally sit. They were pretty faded and a new coat of matte definitely improved the overall appearance. I still need to hit the very bottom plastic piece that sits under the grille but didn’t feel like doing anymore yesterday. Let me know what you guys think. More projects to come since the wife is out of town and I now have time to work on things. Of course, I like it having done all four bits on my car.

Finished up the bottom piece today. While I waited for that to dry I also updated the head lights bulbs. These LED’s are much better than the stock halogen bulbs for both appearance and brightness. Was a little thought to get the left one to fit in the housing as they were left over parts from a Subaru outback build I did a few years ago, but I managed to make it work.
