My 2k ZX2, 2011 Fiesta SE and 2016 Fiesta ST.
I will post some newer pictures after I get some maintenances complete on the yellow zx2 and the 2011 Fiesta. Even though they are not used year round, they still need tires, alignments and other little things. I'm kind of surprised that the 2011 Fiesta front wheel bearings made it past 90k. I maintained it very intensively but I also autocrossed and road tripped the shit out of it for several summers.
The white and blue ZX2 was the SCCA showroom stock C roadracing version of the yellow zx2. The ZX2 S/R was created by a small group of engineers in Ford's small car development area
The S/R was an unpromoted sub- model built in very limited quantities for the purpose of homologating certain components for use in SCCA roadracing.
It allowed an aspiring racer to get the basic components, minus the roll cage, safety equipment and the approved Multimatic coilover suspension kit, to build a new race car. The SCCA had input into the development and spec's. The Ford Engineers did the grunt labor and component testing and validation, sign offs on component approval and purchasing , and got it through the production planning stages. That it even exists, took a tremendous amount of time, effort and internal corporate rule bending.
Which I don't believe has any chance of being done again. There's no wiggle room for these niche market ghost cars anymore.
