- 2018 Fiesta (model ????)
My name is Rick.
I live in Morro Bay, CA, and recently traded my F-150 to my Son for his 2018 Fiesta (the title does not specfy a model) with the 1.6l engine and a six speed automatic.
My Son is starting a new handy man/haul away business and needed a pickup, my wife and I wanted a 4-dr sedan, so the trade came about for both our benefit. I have added cruise control and ordered new seat covers but all else is original.
I have had two instances where the check engine light came on. I did the WD-40 treatement at the fuel inlet, cleared the code and all was well for a while, but the check engine light came on again. Some research indicates I could have a dirty mass air sensor, or coated 02 sensosrs, so I'm working on checking those out.
I went to order a shop manual, like a Chilton, but found out that all I can ger is digital on a thumb drive or a disc. I can't preview them to insusre the needed information is included to guide me to checking the mass air sensor and/or the 02 sensors I was able to read the index on one manual but there was no listing for the two items I want to check so I want to insure the information is there before making the purchase..
I know this is a long introduction but I am looking for guidance on which shop manual to order. There are two on ebay that look the same in the image but differ in price by a factor of about 2, so there is likely something missing in the lesser expensive one, possibly both.
Any advice would be welcome, I can be reached at crzn427@yahoo.com
Regards, Rick.
BTW, I also have a '67 Cougar with a 390, 4bbl, 4spd and no power equipment that my Dad bought new. I'm finishing up some paint repairs now. I also have a Factory Five 427 Roadster that I bought in 2000 and built my self, with a '94 Mustang 5.0 HO engine and T-5 transmission, I also did the upholstry and paint. My wife has a Porsche Boxster.
