- 05 LX 1.6 as a track car
Hi all,
my name is Tony and I live a litte west of Sydney, Australia.
I'm now the owner of a Jan 05 1.6 LX manual as a track day car. It has the seats stripped, a basic rollover hoop, SAAS seat and harness. Last year, under the old owner, it was entered in the New South Wales (state in Aus) "Small Car Cup" competition. It won its class. Looking forward to punting it around on local "SuperSprints", Motokhana and hill climbs.
It's just for fun but it arrived with one fault - the clutch master cylinder was replaced but they couldn't figure out how to get the return spring on. It's taken me probably 3 hours but magically, I have it back on without removing the clutch master "YAY".
