Fiesta 2010

Hello.

I've got a 2010 Fiesta, and recently came to an idea to install fog lights into it.

How hard is it to do? The place for the button for the fog lights is already clickable, and the front bumper has cutouts (but they don't seem to be the right size) for the fog lights, so I'm just curious is it worth the hassle and how much would it set me back.

Thank you!

To help with this, if you already have the blanks removed, you'll see that the cubby the lights rest in, has the rear hole to handle the fog-lamp and it's connector into that housing - with the "stay" that the connector rests on until you mount the lights - is just above them and uncapping it will let it drop neatly into place to help you.

The Fog light blanks use a 3" cutout and also have chrome plastic rings that clip in. They are separate purchase from Ford but you can find other places that will provide them in the kit for an extra $$$.

If you don't want that flash of chrome - you can use a standard 2-1/2" Grommet light with it's smaller base flat cut off and removed to help fit the lamp into the hole and offers a blackout look if you are into that.

Just stretch this over the housing as you apply the front cutout and seam it in
the Fog-light blank fits the cut channels and grooves the OEM blank uses
- the Lamp (with it's mounting hardware) is installed first then the blank
]and this grommet will stretch and slip over the light housing with it's outer ring covering the cutout gap
and provide a nice simple blackout finished look to fill in the ring that Chrome clip-in would otherwise take.
Hope this works out for you - no matter which way to take it.

As always, if you have issues - stop by, and if you can, post photos so we can help with your ordeal...
