2013 SE 5 speed manual 1.6 Hatchback. Bought new. Popping out of 1st gear sometimes. Not the usual problems, shifter, motor mounts, etc. Finally have used transmission to replace it with. I will rebuild the B5/IB5 later. Any videos about R&R the transmission and any advice. Is this forum US or British centered? I understand the European 5 speed is different, having close ratio gear set and lower final drive (engine spins more in high gear) Is this true for England, or just Europe?
Looking for an exploded view and parts list of the B5/IB5 transmission. Been told that if I have the transmission part part # I can order a part from ford. Dealer said they do not sell parts kit.
