Has anybody pulled a spoiler off of a car and put it on a fiesta sedan? Show them if you have.

Curious if the little spoiler already on some SE's is part of the trunk, or if it's like attached.

I don't know, couldn't find a fiesta sedan in the junkyard. I bought and installed one of the universal rear window spoiler off ebay. It looks alright, nothing too flashy.

This is a trunk lid from a Fiesta sedan with the SFE package. The solid plastic spoiler was tape mounted at the factory after the body shell was painted.
They did stamp holes into the lid that were used as the locating points for the clip- pins shown in the last image I took through a punch out in the underside.
An aftermarket spoiler would be less troublesome and time consuming to install than this almost invisible piece. 20221102_193719.jpg 20221102_193817.jpg 20221102_193852.jpg

so I was looking around the internet for ideas / inspiration and came across this image of a fiesta.

I really like the look of that back window roof spoiler, or not sure what to call that exactly. Does anyone happen to know if this is a thing for purchase? I realize this is a 3d rendering and not a actual picture of the vehicle. This whole look in this rendering actually is really clean and not "ricey" in my opinion. This is the look I'd like to go for. Also are those the SE wheels? they kinda look like OEM wheels.

I remember those! They were a “thing” until the mid 1980’s. They were available from ford dealers from 1969 until they suddenly just stopped being available at the end of 1984. I installed most of them on Mustang’s but they were available for the Pinto, Escort and EXP too. They worked great and really reduced sun fade on carpeting.

Where did they go?

Wonder why? With the "Spoiler craze" - just wanted the extra shade the Louvres provided in the summers we get around here. Plus, the side benefit of the clearer rear view when in rain or snow.

I am going to guess that the popularity of this item declined at the same time the popularity of leasing cars went up.

that looks fantastic! I wanna do something super similar. nice exhaust too. question on that, is that polymer piece of bumper removable? if so I'd like to cut a slot in mine and put a pipe out the back, similar to yours but a little snugger up to the bumper. Also, what do ya'll think would look good for a spoiler on these cars? (I got the same style black sedan) I'm almost certain I wont go OEM, as I honestly just dont feel like looking *that* hard. Lastly, if anyone knows of a way to get Louvres for it, like take my money lol.

I haven't seen louvers for a fiesta. EBay sells rear diffusers to enhance the look of your exhaust, pretty cheap as well. Spoilers can be a little work, as the trunk is not really made for a big one. It only cost me $50 in total plus a hour of my own labor in my drive way. DIY is the way to go.

Absolutely. And whereas I'm studying/practicing body work, I'm willing to take the L if I mess up an installation or paint work because i wanna get better anyway :)
Additionally, does anyone know if I can bolt on or make fit the same front bumper as Cleusman2's? those ones look so much better than my generations lol.
