Howzit!

Wanted to see how many high mileage 1.0 EcoBoost members are on here that might share their experiences.

I need to choose between a 1.4 and 1.0, but I am concerned about the small turbo motors not reaching a decent old age without breaking the bank with repairs.

Also wanted to find out if anyone knows if the 1.0 has a wet cam belt?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum. The 1.0 is not common in America. I understand that out of every 100 Fiesta sold here perhaps two of that 100 were 1.0 Ecoboost. The fact that they were a manual transmission only vehicle probably was the biggest single thing that turned off buyer interest in them.
The timing belt is a wet type.
I am unaware of any active 1.0 owners here, although they are more than welcome to join us. Especially if they are mechanically inclined and have some hands on experience with the 1.0 Ecoboost.

I think the main thing with a turbo is regular oil changes. Keep it clean, and the belt will last.
