My Ford Fiesta 1.4 Trend 2009 model just broke down. Car did not want to start. Not swinging and did not want to kick-start. Cabin light comes on and radio plays. Makes a soft tickering noise when trying to start...dash lights go off and comes back on again after a few seconds. Please help

Most likely just your battery. Enough charge to run the lights, but not enough amps to turn the starter.

Ok....but charging it and having it hold a charge are two different issues. Best to go get it load-tested at a parts store.

So it could be a dud battery that I purchased...will have it checked out tomorrow. Thanks

Sorry I misread your post. I thought you said you charged it...not changed it. That said, I would still get it tested. Start with that.
