Difference between 2013 and 2014?

I’ve called this Fiesta a 2013 because of the 5/13 build date but based on the VIN it’s a 2014. I learned that by arranging for a windshield replacement and 2013 glass doesn’t have an attachment point for the light and rain sensor. Had to pay $60 more for 2014 glass. It was a hand me down from a family friend so I didn’t look closely at the paperwork.
