2013 Fusion
#1
Greetings:

I have a 2013 Fusion. Seems to be some sort of electrical issue when the car sits in the sun and the engine compartment gets HOT. 1) The Emergency Flashers will suddenly activate. 2) The car will not recognize the key fob and will not start. 3) On occasion, the doors will not unlock even with either fob and both have new batteries.

Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

PS: I took the car to a Ford dealer where I purchased the car. They had the car for 2 days and said they would run a code read using their IDS Code Reader. Because the car started, they said there was no issue and they did not do a code read. Could I go to a local garage and see if they have a "Fully Functional Bidirectional Scan Tool" and see what codes are there?

Thank you,

Best,
DrJ
