    Help with Weatherstrip!

Salvage yards should have something like that for around $40 to $50 bucks. All models and years from 2011 to 2019 have the same wiper cowl parts. There's no shortage of used parts out there.

    Hey from the UK

I believe that you can play it through the Sync by cable from your device. I have a U.S. spec 16 Fiesta ST with Sync3 and I have been able to do carplay via cable.

    Steering Concern

The subframe bolts require a torque procedure that is reminiscent of tightening down a cylinder head to the engine block.

    2016 Titanium HB 1.6L 111k miles HELP

CRC chemicals company even offers a combo kit with enough for one cleaning session! Aptly named the "performance twin pack"! Im also fond of the intake valve and turbo cleaner spray for the 1.6 turbo in the ST. No tuneup or filter element maintenance routine is complete without using these products.

    2016 Titanium HB 1.6L 111k miles HELP

The oil sure can migrate through the PCV system on these engines! I use CRC chemicals throttle body and upper intake cleaner on my Fiesta with no problems for over ten years. That little foam breather element in the airbox is a once a year replacement item. I think that it's rather restrictive...

Can you some how put Sports mode on a Non S version of the fiesta?

Hello. Welcome to the forum. I have no clue regarding what part of the world you are in or what market your Fiesta was built to be sold in. So, i would hazard a guess that you might be able to get a reflash of some sort if you have a Fiesta intended for the European union. Your fuel economy...

    SYNC APIM Module Location

If you go to the Ford oem parts online website and search for "2017 ford fiesta sound system" the diagrams and description of the components will be there. The APiM is a very feature level and build date specific component.

Is there supposed to an engine splash shield?

I am unaware of any splash shield or aprons beyond the small shield for the crankshaft pulley on North American Fiesta's. I can't say that I have ever seen any, more extensive coverage pieces installed on Fiesta versions sold in other parts of the world.

2014 Ford Fiesta SE AC problem

I can sympathize with your desire to not spend unnecessary money on things that are easily fixable. But, you admit upfront about not having much or any experience with automotive A/C systems. I have to assume that you also don't have any specific tools like an A/C pressure gauge or a manifold...

    2016 Titanium HB 1.6L 111k miles HELP

Camshaft position sensors can be a very troublesome component from the aftermarket. I dont understand why they would be. They are basically a magnetic switch. I replaced the cps in my 2011with a house brand cps just before the china virus shutdown from an Autozone. It was not doing the job. Got...

    Welcome newcomers, please introduce yourself!

Grassroots Motorsports magazine built and ran a B spec fiesta in 2012 and detailed their build in the magazine and their website. I have been a subscriber since the mid 1990's. They are the best source for all information about club racing and motorsports participation and car construction i...

    Welcome newcomers, please introduce yourself!

Welcome to the forum. Do you belong to the SCCA or know someone who does? The club has a great online market place for race cars and parts. I can guarantee you that you can buy a B Spec Fiesta race car for considerably less money than you would have to spend in cash and time to "build" an...

    Hi from Poland

Welcome to the forum. You will want to seriously consider adding a Quaife atb differential to the list of upgrades. It resolves the traction control issue to a great degree. An upgraded lower mount with polyurethane bushings is also a critical improvement. In spite of that tracton/ stability...

Ford Fiesta 2012 1.25L Petrol. Code: P0420 Advice pls.

You don't want a "universal" O2 sensor unless you are up to speed on properly doing required pin position of each of the four wires that feed into the sensor! "Direct fit" is what you want. It makes the task truly plug and play. Most parts stores have a vin database that narrows down the choices...

Ford Fiesta 2012 1.25L Petrol. Code: P0420 Advice pls.

I would only choose a known quality of sensor for the upstream O2. A pair of new sensors are not anywhere near as costly as the catalyst! You really want that upstream O2 to be a quality product! It has to be the most reliable one in order to be certain that the catalyst is not being force fed a...

Ford Fiesta 2012 1.25L Petrol. Code: P0420 Advice pls.

Hello. Welcome to the forum. I would first replace the upstream O2 sensor and the downstream O2 sensor. Given the age of the vehicle and the amount of time you have continued to drive it with the present condition. Many mechanic's consider oxygen sensors to be part of a major tuneup routine...

Curious case of my boot lock

The switch might have an internal short. These things that are electromechanical are subject to the worst of moisture and vibration over an extended period of time.

    5 speed troubles

I would be looking for gear oil that is leaking past the axle seals where the cv axles go into the transmission case. Are you certain that it is holding gear oil? Or that it was refilled with the proper spec synthetic gear oil?

    Side skirts

Look at the front splitter that Lions tooth did on his 2015 hatchback build thread. I did a thread on a flatter looking splitter on my 2011 that would be a lot of work to assemble and install. But it ended up looking great. Neither of these splitters required paint and the cost all in was under...

    Project Fiesta ST180 S2000

It certainly looks like a rally car. But, even if it has an ST engine and transmission in it the cage, huge wheels and tires and the bodywork added to what they admit to be a production stamped steel body shell must weigh over 3,000 pounds! Load 350 pounds of bricks into your Fiesta and take it...
