Helo all, when my car reaches optimal operating temperature the idling goes UP and DOWN, but does not switch off. car is a dream to drive when cold but after about 20km or so the idling starts to fluctuate, really annoying. auto electrician checked everything. Someone also said it could be the instrument cluster, but how? Could it be the cluster, can it be fixed and is a new cluster expensive? Hope to hear from you. have a good day. clint south africa

It’s very likely that the idle air control is dirty or the throttle position sensor has begun to fail. That shouldn’t be a huge problem to clean the idle air control or replace the throttle position sensor. Below is an image of the iac. Couldn’t find an image of tps. IMG_3688.jpeg
