Hello everyone. I bought a 2014 Ford Fiesta S model yesterday for $10.5 K with 50 miles on the odometer. The funny thing is my 2002 Mazda Prot?g? 5 had broken down the day before and I bought the Fiesta S somewhat on impulse, since I commute 100 miles / day round trip and I didn't have time this weekend to figure out was wrong with my P5 this time (likely a fuel pump failure, among many other issues). The price, however was too good to pass up, lower than anything I had seen even for the 2012/2011 models, so I jumped on it.

So now that I'm in the Fiesta camp with the base model, I'd like to run a few questions by some of the forum members. First off, the S model is lacking power windows and cruise control. What are my options for upgrading. I know the power windows are likely an expensive option, so I'm willing to forego those, but the cruise control is a must for my commute, since I can't Pulse and Glide my way down the Alaska highways without angering people. I know you can install aftermarket cruise kits, but it sounds complicated. Would buying and installing a steering wheel with the integrated cruise control module be an option for me. Something like this 2014 Fiesta ST steering wheel up for sale on Ebay?

Finally with a commute of 100 miles daily I'm looking for any options/mods to get my MPG up as high as possible. Any guidance is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new car. For power windows you can go to most alarm / car stereo shops and they can do the install for you, but it won't be cheap as you'll need to get power window regulators and labor will easily set you back close $1k.

For cruise control, it would be much cheaper to go aftermarket than OEM and again most alarm / car stereo shops can perform this installation. I know Rosta makes a kit (part#250-9610) for the Fiesta.
