Any PNW events/activities being planned?

Just traded in my beloved 1999 New Beetle for a Ford Fiesta with EcoBoost. I was hoping that there would be fun events and activities for Fiesta owners in the PNW like we had for my VW, some NB only events and many VW events. I am having difficulty finding anything. We used to meet for fun day runs (like around Mt. St. Helens) and even some weekend events (around the Olympic Peninsula with an overnight in Port Angeles). Those are just examples of the many trips we took. We even caravanned together to drive to regional or national events farther away. And sometimes we just met at someone's house for a big BBQ or campout in someone's field. Anyway, lots of fun.

Was hoping to hook up with Fiesta owners for the same types of fun events. Anything in the planning stages?

Unfortunately, there is not much going on in the Fiesta community FC. It seems that most people are not into the idea of attending an event or meetup so much as viewing pictures of one on their smartphones.Maybe, when more Fiesta have been purchased, we will see a variety of Fiesta centric events. Right now the action is centered around track events, rally and autocross that some owners are enjoying. I think the Fiesta will eventually become more visible in the artcar and specialised (not performance) modification areas. The Fiesta has tremendous personalisation potentential, it just needs some more time to be discovered by creative people.

There is STFest.com in Memphis Tennessee this year happening on August 28-29.
The Pacific northwest is not at all close to Memphis. I think Funkycamper is looking for regional events. StFest is not Fiesta centered(especially not "non ST" centered)
